The Lakes - Middle Lake, Dalyellup

The current construction works along Bussell Highway will connect BORR with the highway and the surrounding local roads more efficiently through an innovative ‘Y’ interchange. To enable construction, the following road closures and traffic control will be implemented starting Tuesday, 28 May 2024

Our works team are starting the process of putting the gravel that has been graded off during our Summer grading program back onto the roads and clearing the drains ready for our Winter program.  

Due to the size of the road transport vehicle being used, there will be no access along Turner St as it moves down towards the unloading area near the entrance of the Centre.

Verge side collection of green waste is undertaken twice a year in the residential areas of Boyanup, Capel, Dalyellup and Peppermint Grove Beach. 📅Monday 27 May to 10 June

South West Gateway have advised the Shire of Capel that from 8 May 2024 portion of Calinup Road will be permanently closed and realigned onto Grevillea Road.

South West Gateway have advised the Shire of Capel that from 30 April 2024, traffic on Lillydale Road and Allenville Road will be shifted onto a new alignment as part of the final Bunbury Outer Ring Road network.

The public toilets at the Dalyellup Surf Club Beach will be undergoing a makeover as of Monday 22 April.

Landscaping works will be carried out from 15th April to 2nd May.

Notice is given that the Prohibited Burning Period for the whole of the land district of the Shire of Capel has been extended from 15 April until 29 April 2024 inclusive, and subject to seasonal conditions may be extended again at this date.
