BORR Southern Section 31 Centenary Road, North Boyanup: Laydown Program Mobile Asphalt Machinery SWGA-31-143-00-PLN-003 28 August
Scope:
This plan involves the proposed laydown area for the Mobile Asphalt Plant (operated by Asphaltec). This laydown yard is on Centenary Rd south of the Speedway Car Park (City of Bunbury) with the immediate vicinity being a non-residential rural zone so do not anticipate any noise disturbances affecting the public in this location.
Detail:
SWGA are looking to complete all key asphalt sealing along southern section of the BORR to meet key milestone dates for opening. The mobile Asphalt Plant will be setup to operate in location shown below.
- The site will include:
A laydown area for mobile plant;
- Aggregate stockpiles;
- Mobile cold feeder main asphalt plant;
- Diesel tank;
- Two bitumen tanks;
- Asphalt loadout elevator;
- Control room; and
- Loader
Standard criteria considered:
- Reason for works being required after hours/ demonstrating that it was reasonably necessary for the work to be done out-of-hours
- Acknowledge AS 2436-2010 Guide to noise and vibration control on construction, demolition and maintenance sites
- Speak to the use of equipment being the quietest reasonably available
- Show that the occupiers of all premises at which noise received was likely to be above the assigned levels have been given notice of the proposed construction work at least 24 hours before it started
- Covers predictions of noise emissions
- Includes types and durations of activity likely to result in noise emissions above assigned noise levels
- Document control measures for noise emissions, including vibration
- Complaint response procedure
