Another Act of Senseless Vandalism Hits Dalyellup!

Once again, we have to report that another Dalyellup toilet block facility has been targeted by vandalism overnight.
The male toilets at the Dalyellup Skate Park were extensively vandalized, with cubicle doors being ripped from hinges and the pipe work damaged. Just three months ago, the Shire spent $3500 to replace all the doors from the last vandalism incident that occurred at this facility.
This incident is particularly disheartening, especially after the recent vandalism at the recently refurbished Dalyellup Surf Club Beach Toilet block.
Vandalism is a regrettable social phenomenon, not only does it make our community members feel unsafe but it also results in a significant cost to ratepayers for replacement and repair works.
The Shire’s Facilities Team has already mobilised, however repairs will take up to two months to complete.
We urge anyone who has witnessed this behaviour or can identify any of the graffiti tags to report them to the Police on 131 444, or contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
Your vigilance and assistance in preserving community property is greatly appreciated.
