The Shire of Capel hereby gives public notice of Annual Meeting of Electors, in accordance with s.5.29 of the Local Government Act 1995.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider the Annual Report for the 2023/24 financial year, to report back on motions from the last Annual Meeting and any other business of the electors of the district.

• Date: Monday 24 February 2025
• Time: 6:00pm
• Venue: Gelorup Community Centre, Hastie Road, Gelorup

Shire of Capel Annual Report 2023-24

• at the Shire’s Administration, Forrest Road, Capel; and
• at the Shire of Capel public libraries in Boyanup, Capel and Dalyellup.

Attendees wishing to vote on motions must be eligible Shire of Capel electors and are encouraged to register in advance at www.capel.wa.gov.au to fast-track the check in / validation process.

Registrations open 9.00am Thursday 6 February 2025.

If you would like to raise questions or motions at the meeting, it is encouraged they be submitted prior to the meeting to ensure they are recorded in the minutes accurately. However, you can submit your completed form to a Shire Officer at the meeting and ask your question or motion at the meeting.
