NOTICE OF SPECIFIED WORKS NOISE MANAGEMENT PLAN
It is hereby notified for public information that Cleanaway SWS Southwest, of Lot 171
Boyanup-Picton Rd seeks approval of the Chief Executive Officer of the Shire of Capel of a Noise management Plan (NMP) for waste management activities within the Shire of Capel.
The purpose and effect of this noise management plan is to describe how the noise impact from waste collection activities will be managed and minimized.
The Cleanaway Capel NMP is available from the Capel Shire office, Boyanup, Capel, Dalyellup
Libraries and Shire Website, or Cleanaway at bunburyCSU@cleanaway.com.au.
Submissions about the NMP can be made in writing to the Shire CEO at info@capel.wa.gov.au
before 6 October 2024.
The Cleanaway Capel NMP provides details for works for both Class 1 (carried out between 7:00 to 19:00 on Weekdays and Saturdays and 9:00 to 19:00 on Sundays or Public Holidays) and Class 2 (For all other hours not considered in Class 1)
Class 2 waste collections applicable include the following throughout the Shire
- Main Roads from 5.30 am
- Industrial areas from 4 am
- Commercial services from 5:00 am (*with exceptions for Ampol on Bussell Highway Gelorup and Liberty on Norton Promenade from 4:30 am when required)
- Schools and high traffic roads in residential areas from 6:00 am
