The Shire of Capel are seeking community members to participate as representatives on the newly formed Capel Coastal Sub-Committee (CSCC).
The Committee has an important role in providing advice and recommendations to the Climate Change, Adaptation and Sustainability Committee on actions and alternatives for the sustainable management of the Shire of Capel's coastlines.
There are three positions available, one for each of the sub-areas of the Shire's Coast:
- Capel
- Peppermint Grove Beach
- Dalyellup
If you are passionate about future coastal impacts and want to contribute to sustainable outcomes for the future of your community's coastal environment, we want to hear from you!
The Sub-Committee membership also includes councillors and industry representatives to ensure a holistic and collaborative approach to developing initiatives for the Shire's coastal future.
