We are thrilled to announce a $50,000 grant from Lotterywest, for two incredible community events - Captivate Capel and Dalyellup Jingle & Mingle Festival
Mark your calendars for March 22, 2025, as Captivate Capel returns to Erle Scott Reserve. We will celebrate World Water Day with free family entertainment, water conservation activities, a makers market, food trucks, and more!
In December, the inaugural Dalyellup Jingle & Mingle Festival was a huge success with a celebration of community and connection, featuring market stalls, food vendors, games, rides, and live performances.
Last week Don Punch MLA and Jodie Hanns MLA, joined Shire President Doug Kitchen and Shire Community Development Officer, Michelle McCully for the presentation.
Shire President Doug Kitchen shared "The Shire is thrilled to receive this grant, allowing us to grow these fantastic events that attract locals and visitors alike. These celebrations not only bring free entertainment but also support our local businesses and community groups, strengthening the spirit of connection in our District."
