Calling all young artists and eco-warriors!
Captivate Capel and Cleanaway are inviting all juniors to get creative and turn waste into stunning marine-inspired artworks.
Open to schools and individuals, this competition challenges you to think sustainably while showcasing your artistic talents!
MIXED MEDIA COLLAGE (Ages 1-5) Decorate a marine animal using waste items in a mixed media collage. Size: No larger than A4. Templates provided.
MINI MARINE DIORAMAS (Ages 6-11)Create a marine scene using only waste materials. Size: Must fit in a container no larger than a 5L ice cream tub.
MARINE REEF CREATURES (Ages 12-18)Design a reef creature from waste materials. Size: No larger than 30cm x 30cm x 20cm or heavier than 3kg. Displayed hanging or on a base as part of a reef exhibit.
MARINE CREATURES - TEAM ENTRY (School Years 7-12)Team up to create a large-scale marine creature from waste materials. Size: No larger than 1m x 1.5m x 1m, mounted on a 1m x 1.5m board.
