The Shire of Capel has adopted its Corporate Business Plan for 2024-2028, outlining key strategic initiatives and core business actions aligned with the Shire's long-term vision. This plan is linked to the Plan for the Future including the Strategic Community Plan 2023-2033, ensuring consistent progress toward community aspirations.
As required by legislation, the Shire will review the Corporate Business Plan annually. This allows for adjustments in timelines, assumptions, and projections based on changing priorities within the community or council. The 2024-2028 plan was developed with input from Shire staff and Councillors, ensuring a collaborative process. Initiatives from the plan will be included in the Shire's annual delivery plans, staff performance reviews, and regular reporting to track progress against set goals within time and budget constraints.
This rigorous approach ensures that the Shire stays on course with its goals while remaining adaptable to community needs.
The Strategic Community Plan is due for its 4 yearly review. Once complete, the Corporate Business Plan and revised Strategic Community Plan will update the Plan for the Future.
