Another Act of Senseless Vandalism Hits Dalyellup

We are incredibly disappointed to report that two of Dalyellup’s newly installed solar lights—part of a $70,000 investment to improve safety and amenity in our public spaces—have been deliberately vandalised.

One light has been completely pulled from the ground, while another has had its top forcibly ripped off. These lights were only installed in February 2025 and this damage comes on top of ongoing graffiti at the Dalyellup Skate Park.

This is not just thoughtless—it's a costly, destructive act that affects every member of our community. Ratepayers are left footing the bill, and valuable time and resources are redirected to repairs, which could take months to complete.
