Residents of Gelorup will soon see changes to their postal services as the Gelorup Licensed Post Office (LPO), located at 39 Bussell Hwy, Gelorup WA 6230, will officially close on November 4th, 2024. The closure comes after the current licensee handed back their license to operate.
Australia Post has acknowledged the importance of postal services in keeping the community connected and assures residents that they are committed to providing continuous service with minimal disruption.

Trading Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Withers LPO
Location: Minninup Forum Shopping Centre, Shop 5/1 Island Queen St, Withers WA 6230
Trading Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Saturday 8:30 am – 12:00 pm

Support for PO Box Customers
To assist with the transition, Australia Post will notify all Gelorup PO Box customers in writing, offering the option to retain their PO Box at another nearby post office with six months of free mail redirection. Walk-in customers will be informed about the closure through visible notices displayed at the post office.
