Town Planning Schemes
The Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015 took effect on 19 October 2015. Schedule 2 of the Regulations provides Deemed Provisions designed to streamline and simplify planning processes across the state. These provisions automatically form part of existing planning schemes. Applicants are reminded that where there are inconsistencies between the Deemed Provisions and existing schemes such as Town Planning Scheme No 7, the Deemed Provisions will prevail.
