An Evening with Paul Kelly & Ben Aldridge

The Shire invites all men to an amazing presentation with Ben Aldridge & Paul Kelly!

Ben Aldridge believes he is one of the luckiest people he knows!  He lives in Capel with his amazing family and survived a 30 foot drop, which led to him being a quadriplegic.  Ben states:  “The truth is that whilst it has had some negative impact it has been the single most important moment of my life and the crucible that has shaped it.  I have faced the worst version of myself, battled mental health issues, addiction and came out the other end with one hell of a story to tell!”

Paul Kelly is one of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia’s Men’s Health Ambassadors who also lives in Capel.  His interest in men’s health took a dramatic turn in 2007 when he was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer, which led to a ‘steep learning curve’ in dealing with numerous specialists, treatments and therapies, along with a rollercoaster of emotions.

We encourage all men to come along and here what these amazingly inspirational and approachable men have to say.
